Hoover police and the FBI were investigating a robbery at an Inverness bank Thursday.  Investigators say a man walked into the bank on Inverness Center Drive around 11:30 a.m., and handed the teller a note demanding money.    There were no injuries.   The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s, standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall.   He was wearing a black and grey jacket with a vertical white stripe, blue jeans, work boots, a white hoodie and a black stocking cap.  He left the scene in a two-door silver sedan, possibly a 90s Toyota, Nissan, or Mazda.    Anyone with information is urged to contact Hoover police or the FBI.
