Magnolia Springs is being credited as the most beautiful place in Alabama.

Travel and Leisure compiled a nationwide list ranking the most beautiful place in every state, which included Magnolia Springs as the top choice for Alabama.

"Mail is delivered by boat — the last year-round river mail delivery in the country — in this small coastal village along the Magnolia River," Travel and Leisure's Anne Olivia Bauso wrote. "Dating to the late 1700s, the town is named for its natural assets: gushing springs and a shady canopy of magnolia trees."
