An Alabaster man is charged with sexually abusing a child. Jeremey Douglas Loper, 35, was arrested, after a woman contacted police to say her daughter was abused. Police are asking anyone else who thinks their child may have had contact with the suspect to call them. Loper is charged with a felony count of electronic solicitation of a child and a misdemeanor count of second degree sexual abuse. He is being held on bonds totaling $35-thousand dollars.
