Birmingham's Morning News - May 5, 2014

Posted May 5th, 2014 @ 6:53am

It's a Monday, and the latest happenings over the weekend took center stage on Birmingham's Morning News.

If you haven't seen it, here is a scary situation with some acrobats with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus.  9 performers fell from a tall height, but none were killed.

As tensions rise in the Ukraine, we took a look at the latest with Dr. Paul Bonicelli, an expert on foreign policy.  A bunch of people were released by pro-Russian militants over the weekend after more were killed late last week.

Also, there is more trouble with the Benghazi situation as the Democrats and Republicans can't seem to agree on things.  We talked to Jeff Birnbaum from Fox News and the Washington Times about the latest with the documents.

Also check out this Republican candidate from Oregon lose it on reporters who wrote "blah blah blah" in response to one of his opponent's answers.

We'll be back tomorrow with the latest around Birmingham, the nation, and the world - along with traffic and weather together every 10 minutes.
