Metal Detectors Sidelined During Huffman Shooting

A stunning admission about the deadly shooting at Huffman High School.  The school has two metal detectors, but they were not in use at the time 17-year old Courtlin Arrington was gunned down.   That word came from Birmingham school superintendent Lisa Herring at a Thursday press conference.   "We are revamping and revisiting, with an extreme amount of urgency, those protocols, Herring said.     She did not say why the metal detectors were sidelined during Wednesday's shooting.   An increased police presence is planned when students return to the school Friday.
