Alabama leads the nation in support of President Trump. A new Morning Consult poll shows the president's job approval rating in the state is 63 percent. That's higher than any other state. Just 33 percent of Alabama voters disapprove. Two other red states, West Virginia and Wyoming, are just behind Alabama, giving the President a 62 percent approval rating. The President's popularity in the state was on display in the primary, with many Republican candidates tying themselves to Mr. Trump in campaign ads.
