The Jeff Co BOE has asked Donna Pike to resign over controversial social Media Posts. She was confronted at a school board meeting by Carlos Chaverst, a local activist.
Chaverst demanded the board remove Pike, however because she is an elected official, she cannot be fired. The board can however pass a resolution asking her to step down.
Pike stated at this meeting that she will not resign and she was not going to apologize for the posts, and that she is not a racist.
