The accident occured on Interstate 65 Southbound in Blount County. A group of students and parents from Limestone County were traveling in a school bus to the Birmingham Zoo. The bus was rear-ended on route. Fortunately, no one was hurt and the damage was minimal. The group resumed their trip to Birmingham.
