A new park to be built under the I-20\59 bridges downtown has been named.
CityWalk BHAM will be a joint project developed by ALDOT and the city of Birmingham.
It will stretch for 10 blocks from 15th St. N. to 25th St. N.
A final decision on the design and purpose of the park has not yet been made. One suggestion is a skatepark.
Several meetings are scheduled for public input.
