Police reportedly identified a person of interest in the killing of a Hoover teenager. Sylacauga Police Chief Kelly Johnson told al.com that investigators hope to file charges in the fatal shooting of 17-year old Casey Kizer. Johnson said authorities are waiting on analysis of a key piece of evidence. Kizer was gunned down July 27 near Hwy. 280 in Sylacauga. Police have released few details about the killing. Her obituary said Kizer, a former Spain Park High School student, was a graduate of Valleydale Christian Academy, and was to have attended UAB starting this month.
