Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) Wednesday said he still doesn't know how he'll vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Speaking in Birmingham, Jones said "it could go either way." At a meeting of the Birmingham Rotary Club, Jones said he is conducting a review of Kavanaugh's work, adding that he would not be swayed by pro-Kavanaugh TV commercials, or even calls to his office. Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Tuscaloosa) has declared his support for Kavanaugh, a federal appeals court judge. A recent poll showed a majority of Alabama voters favored Kavanaugh's confirmation.
