Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Monday was named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Tagovailoa has been the front-runner for most of the season, while leading his team to a 13-0 record. Tagovailoa faces competition from two other quarterbacks: Oklahoma's Kyler Murray and Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins. The last time three quarterbacks were finalists was 2008. Tagovailoa and Murray will face off in the College Football Playoff, when Alabama plays Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 29. The Heisman will be awarded Saturday night in New York City.
