The Galleria shooting case is headed for a grand jury. At a hearing Thursday for suspect Erron Brown, a defense witness testified that Emantic "EJ" Bradford Jr. had his gun drawn, and was standing over shooting victim Brian Wilson just before Bradford was shot dead by Hoover police. Witnesses testified that Wilson punched or slapped Brown, just before the gunfire. Brown is charged with attempted murder in the shooting of Wilson. His attorney, Charles Salvagio, says Brown fired in self-defense. Jefferson County District Judge William "Tony" Bell Jr. granted a request by Brown's lawyers to lower bond from $125,000 to $60,000.
