A man is charged with secretly recording video of women in the changing room of a Hoover gym. 32-year old Brandon Michael Aldridge of Vestavia Hills is accused of placing a cellphone over a partition of a stall at 24e Fitness on Highway 31. Police say the investigation began May 15th, when a victim reported that she saw the reflection of an unknown object in the mirror at the top of the changing stall. Investigators say the same victim observed the cellphone several days later, as she was about to change clothes in a stall. Detectives say eight women were recorded by Aldridge, starting in early April. Some victims were recorded multiple times, investigators said. Seven of the women are pressing charges. Aldridge is charged with aggravated criminal surveillance. He's free on $13,000 bond.
