An accused serial bank robber was arrested, Homewood police announced Friday. Monte Lynch, 49, is suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo branch on West Valley Avenue Aug. 3, and a second location at The Summit on the same day. Lynch, who is from Missouri, is also suspected of robbing banks in Georgia and Tennessee.
