Legendary bluesman Henry "Gip" Gipson died Tuesday at the age of 99, following a series of health problems, family members said. Gipson, a blues guitarist, was the longtime owner of Gip's Place. The storied Bessemer nightspot enjoyed the reputation of being one of the last authentic juke joints in America.
