President Donald Trump is planning a visit to Tuscaloosa this Saturday to attend the highly anticipated showdown between Alabama and LSU. The No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup is the latest "Game of the Century," recalling the excitement generated by the 2011 game between the two teams. Some Republican candidates in Alabama's U.S. Senate race were applauding the President's plans. Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Fairhope) tweeted: "Excited to have President Donald Trump back in Alabama! Two of our favorite things: football and President Trump!" Another GOP candidate, former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville tweeted at the president: "@realDonaldTrump you will see some great football on Saturday. The state of Alabama will give you a heroes welcome, unlike some of the liberals up north!"
