Southeastern Conference university presidents Thursday approved a plan for a shortened, 10-game SEC-only football season due to the coronavirus. Under the plan, season-openers will be pushed back until Sept. 26. The SEC Championship is scheduled for Dec. 19. The move followed similar changes made by other conferences.
