A manhunt was underway, after a suspect escaped in Birmingham on Wednesday. Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say Joshua Lee was arrested on outstanding warrants on Fourth Avenue South in East Lake. Deputies say Lee escaped after being handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
