Vestavia Hills Police confirmed three people were shot at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church Thursday night,
Two people were killed in the shooting, according to officers. One other person is being treated at UAB Hospital.
Vestavia Hills Police said a suspect entered a small church gathering and started shooting. Officers said the suspect acted alone. The suspect is in custody, according to officers.
