The verdict at former President Trump's New York trial is not hurting his popularity in Alabama, a new poll reveals. Mr. Trump is leading President Biden by 60-33% in a voter survey taken by taken by the Alabama Republican Party. Nearly two-thirds of Alabama voters say the case brought by Democratic Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg was politically motivated. A solid majority (64%) said the charges made them more likely to support the former president in the November election. Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl says the results "clearly show the people of Alabama see through the political motivation behind the charges."
