A suspect was arrested in connection with a Homewood road rage shooting, police announced Friday. Charles Hargrove, 57, opened fire on a car along Lakeshore Parkway near I-65 during the morning rush on Sept. 17, investigators said. Three cars were hit, but no injuries were reported. Hargrove, of Birmingham, has a criminal record that prohibits him from owning guns, police said. Hargrove was charged with attemped murder and other crimes. He was ordered held on $135,000 bond at the Jefferson County Jail.
