This event is meant to highlight the importance of family.
• Birmingham Christian Family is celebrating its publication for 25 years and Celebrate the Famiy Expo is a great way to invite the entire community to celebrate with us as we share with families free resources to help them meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We established this event as a way to say thank you to our readers and followers. Laurie Franklin is the founder of The Birmingham Christian Family Publication, based in Birmingham Alabama. The magazine is FREE to the public. The goal of the publication is to spread GOOD NEWS and help businesses and organization serve more families.

• Free fun in the Kids Zone including free inflatables from River of Life Church, free face painting from Painted Personalities. You can also meet feathered friends from the Alabama Wildlife Center. Photo Opportunities with the Hoover Belles, The Chick-fil-A Herd as well as the Birmingham Bulls Torro , UAB Blazers, and the Squadron’s Commander Mascots will be onsite to dance, take photos and pass out giveaways to the crowd. • The Foundry Truck will be onsite collecting clothes or household items. Check your closet or garage for items to donate before you come and help this ministry serve others.
• FREE SHEDDING From the Arc Central Alabama. Bring documents to shred. Bring only loose sorted paper. No metal, no plastic. No Books. They will be parked out front of the Finley Center. Drive up and deliver your papers and then go park to enjoy the Expo!
• Bring Diapers to donate to Bundles of Hope Diaper Truck they will be parked outside of the Expo.
• Visit Two by Two Animal Rescue at the Expo to adopt or foster an animal.
• Visit Benton Nissan outside of Expo to check out the newest cars.
• Food Trucks will be set up including Eugene’s Hot Chicken, Lil Bougie and Temper Coffee.
