Gov. Robert Bentley has declared a state of emergency, ahead of possible severe weather. Fox 6 Chief Meteorologist JP Dice says all modes of severe weather are possible Wednesday, including tornadoes, and damaging winds. Dice says there could be two waves, with the initial round of severe weather arriving in the morning. He says more storms are possible in the afternoon. Many area school systems were planning to close.
