Change is unfolding in Montgomery, following the resignation of Robert Bentley as governor. Gov. Kay Ivey Tuesday fired Jon Mason, the husband of Bentley's former aide and alleged mistress, Rebekah Mason. Mr. Mason, a former television weatherman, had been serving in the governor's cabinet as the director of faith-based and volunteer initiatives. His employment came under scrutiny, amid the scandal that culminated with Bentley pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges, and resigning in disgrace.
