Strange Defends Sessions

Following his testimony on Russia, Attorney General Jeff Sessions was defended by his successor on Capitol Hill.    Sen. Luther Strange says Sessions's testimony  demonstrated  "a complete commitment to integrity, transparency, and the rule of law."  Strange says those are the same qualities that led Alabamians to trust Sessions, and President Obama to choose him as attorney general.    The continued focus on Russia, says Strange, is preventing Congress from moving on the president's agenda.   Strange says people are far more interested in repealing and replacing Obamacare, reforming the tax code,  regulatory reform, and rebuilding the military.   Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan said:  "Attorney General Jeff Sessions is an individual of the highest character and moral fiber. The public testimony he gave to the Senate Intelligence Committee today clearly proves this. He volunteered to testify openly so all of America could hear his truth."
