Moore Sued by Accuser

A woman who accused Roy Moore of sexual misconduct Thursday filed a defamation lawsuit against him.   Leigh Corfman's suit says Moore and his U.S. Senate campaign defamed her, by calling her a liar and questioning her motivation for coming forward.   Corfman rocked the campaign with a claim that Moore sexually abused her in 1979, when she was 14 and he was 32.   Moore denied all allegations of misconduct, but the claims were a major factor in his narrow loss to Democrat Doug Jones.  In response to the lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages,  the Moore campaign says "we looks forward to transparently discussing these matters in a court of law."
