Palmer: Nunes Memo "Very Serious"

Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) Friday said he has read a classified memo reportedly outlining FBI and Justice Department abuses of surveillance programs like FISA.   Appearing on News Radio 105.5 WERC's "Alabama's Morning News," Palmer told host JT the contents are "very serious," but declined to elaborate.    Palmer said he believed the memo will be released.   The memo was prepared by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.)    The debate played out amid new questions about anti-Trump bias at the FBI in connection with the Russia investigation.  FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI attorney Lisa Page, exchanged a series of texts in which the investigation was characterized as "an insurance policy" against a Trump victory.
