Warm Weather Sets Record

Unseasonably warm weather on Monday caused records to fall in Alabama.    At the Birmingham airport, the high temperature of 78 degrees broke the record for the date of 76, set in 2011.    Records also fell in Tuscaloosa and Anniston.   More record-breaking warmth was expected Tuesday, with highs forecast to reach the low 80s.
