A group of Republican lawmakers Wednesday called for limits on special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) and 17 other House members fired off a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, asking him to set a deadline of July 5th, the two year anniversary of the investigation. "Two years is more than enough time for a competent and thorough prosecutor, backed up by the resources of the FBI and the Department of Justice, to do this job, Brooks said. "Mueller's tardiness is damaging America." In addition to setting a deadline, the letter asks Sessions to limit the scope of Muelller's investigation to -- as yet unfounded-- allegations of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, and alleged Russian interference in the presidential election.
