A serviceman from Alabama is being buried with full honors, more than 70 years after his plane crashed during World War II. Army Air Forces 2nd Lt. Robert Keown of Scottsboro was flying an aircraft that went down in Papua, New Guinea in 1944. His fate was unknown until November, when genetic testing confirmed that remains found on the island were his. Nephews and nieces are the closest remaining relatives attending the funeral for Keown at Arlington National Cemetery.
