The Crimson Tide has 11 athletes on the Academic All-America list selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. The Tuscaloosa News reports that for the last 5 years, UA has had at least 10 athletes named to the list. That leads all other NCAA Division One schools. 56 athletes with the University of Alabama have been named Academic All Americans since 2013. Stanford University, with 45, ranks second.
