Bones Identified as Missing Adamsville Man

The search for a missing Adamsville man came to an end Wednesday, with the identification of skeletal remains.  The bones were those of 55-year old Eddie Abbott, police said.   Abbott was reported missing last October.   His remains were discovered by a utility crew, said investigators, off Minor Parkway.  But little is known about what happened to Abbott after he walked away from his home last fall.  "The cause of death of Mr. Abbott is still under investigation at this time, and we're not releasing any more information until we found out what the cause of death was," Adamsville police Sgt. Chris Shaw said.   One of Abbott's daughters, Ashlyn Nilson, expressed the family's appreciation.   "We just want to express how grateful that we are to every municipality, everyone who has joined in this search."
