The Elmore County Sheriff's Office along with Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are “briefing” the public with still shots from store surveillance cameras in hopes of identifying a woman who stole hundreds of dollars worth of underwear.
The alleged suspect is a woman with a large tattoo on her lower back. She appears to be in her early to mid-30s, according to police, and is between 5'4" and 5'8" tall and approximately 220 pounds.
The theft of the undergarments happened at the Dollar General store on Redland Road in Wetumpka.
After exiting the store, the woman drove away in a white Kia SUV with Montgomery County plates.
