Former congressman Jo Bonner will leave the University of Alabama System on Tuesday, July 31. He says he will focus on his role as interim executive director of the Tuscaloosa County Industrial Development Authority. He says the group says it will take a little longer than originally planned to find a permanent executive director, and they have asked him to continue to help them out. Bonner was appointed to the post after the retirement of Dara Longgrear.
