Two cars hit by bullets near Tallapoosa Street on the southbound side of the interstate around 1:30 pm on Saturday. One driver suffered a bullet wound to the head, but is expected to recover. Investigators say the person firing the shots was believed to be travelling in a dark colored car with the license plate blacked out. It is unclear which way the culprit was traveling on the interstate. Anyone with information in the case is urged to contact police.
