Housing development projects are on hold in Alabaster. The City Council hearing from numerous residents concerned about traffic congestion on Highway 119, concerned adding new developments will make a bad issue...worse. Officials say new developments already approved before Tuesday will continue, but no new developments will be approved until they can get a handle on the city's traffic issues.
