26 UAB employees were involved in a bush crash Friday, the university said. A Blazer Express bus was carrying pediatric residents back from a retreat at Camp McDowell, when it wrecked in the Arley area of Winston County, UAB said. The bus careened down a steep hill, through an intersection, then hit a large rock, and a tree. At least 10 people were taken to hospitals. Others were treated at the scene. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
