Hoover Murder Suspect Back in Jail

A man acquitted in the murder of a Hoover veteran has been arrested and charged with another crime.  Ahmad Johnson, 20, is facing robbery and theft charges, after Pelham police say he pulled a gun on the victim, demanding money, a cellphone, and other valuables.  He's being held at the Shelby County Jail on $255,000 bond.  Earlier this year, Johnson was found not guilty in the 2016 murder of Mike Gilotti, an Iraq War veteran, husband and father.  Gilotti was  shot to death after running into a group of car burglars outside his Lake Cyrus home.
