Woman Sentenced for Stealing from Her Employer

Lucy Woods of Pelham is accused of stealing more than $150,000 from her former employer, Robert Warnock Company in Bessemer. She was a bookkeeper for the business that sells equipment for the oil and gas industry. Prosecutors say she used the corporate credit card to charge $30,000 in personal expenses. In addition, she forged $120,000 in unauthorized checks from the corporate account, and made those checks payable to herself.
