Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) Wednesday joined other Democrats in calling for an FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. "They're pretty good about locating witnesses and finding people, that's their job," Jones said. "That's their job. They're a hell of a lot better at it than the Senate majority or minority staff." President Trump and other Republicans rejected calls for an FBI investigation, instead offering accuser Christine Ford an opportunity to tell her side of the story to the Senate Judiciary Committee next week. But Ford is refusing to appear until there's an FBI investigation.
