Ivey Has Commanding Lead: Poll

A little more than 30 days to go until the election, a new poll shows Gov. Kay Ivey is heavily favored to win.    Ivey has a 25 point lead in the NBC News survey, taking 51 percent of the vote to Democrat Walt Maddox's 26 percent.   The poll also finds most Alabamians approve of the job the Republican-led Legislature is doing its job, and a majority of voters plan to back GOP congressional candidates.    President Trump's job approval rating in Alabama remains high, at 59 percent.
