Alabama Power is making great progress working to get service to customers.
At the height of the outages, 49,000 customers were in the dark.
As of 6am today, that number is down to just over 12,000. Most are centered in Houston County with 7800. Alabama Power says crews will keep working 24/7 until everyone is back on and they thank you for your patience.
