UAB Med West will not be coming to Hoover. City Councilor John Lyda tells WBRC the deal has fallen through. Lyda says “No vote will be taken. Our city would welcome Med West if they chose to relocate, but a $20 million incentive package paid for by taxpayers to move from Bessemer was simply not an option.”
