Deadly Shooting Ruled Justifiable Homicide

No charges will be filed against the man who shot and killed a gunman at a Birmingham McDonald's, police announced Thursday.  The death of Antonio Sanders, 24, is being ruled a case of justifiable homicide, following an investigation by police and the office of Jefferson County District Attorney Mike Anderton.   Investigators say Sanders entered the restaurant on Lomb Avenue  Saturday night, and opened fire.   A customer responded by pulling his own gun, and firing at Sanders, killing him.    The unidentified customer, and one of his teenage sons, were injured.
