A raid at a store on Highway 280 resulted in an arrest, authorities said. Agents Thursday executed search warrants at the CBD Store in Inverness, and arrested the owner, Harry Autry, 38, of Hoover.
The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force says the store was selling food products laced with CBD, a substance derived from marijuana.
Tests were conducted on site, all of which returned positive test results for the presence of controlled substances, investigators said.
Autry was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He is free on $35,000 bond.
