A pregnant woman Tuesday lost her unborn baby after getting shot, police said. Two women argued outside a Dollar General store in Pleasant Grove, when one woman pulled a gun and fired, detectives said. The expectant mother, who was five months pregnant, suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach, investigators said. She was taken to UAB Hospital, but doctors could not save the baby. The suspect -- 23-year old Ebony Jemison -- was arrested. She will be charged with the murder of the unborn child, and the attempted murder of the mother, police said.
