Police Release Photos of Hoover Armed Robbery

Hoover police Monday released surveillance photos of an armed robbery at a restaurant, as a manhunt continues. The photos show the suspects stealing a safe at the Jim 'N Nicks on Highway 31 on Feb 3. Witnesses said the holdup men burst through the back door of the restaurant with their faces covered and ordered three employees to the floor at gunpoint. The suspects then went into an office where they stole a safe and fled out of the back door.

The suspects were described as two black men wearing white hooded sweatshirts. One suspect was wearing black pants, the other, black and white pants and red shoes. They were last seen getting into a grey Mercury Grand Marquis headed northbound.
