Lawsuit Challenges Decision on Hoover "ISIS Bride"

A lawsuit challenging the Trump administration's decision blocking the return of Hoover "ISIS bride" Hoda Muthana has been filed, her attorney said Thursday. Hassan Shibly said the suit names as a defendant Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and aims to protect "the guarantee of citizenship for all Americans." Pompeo Wednesday announced that Muthana is not an American citizen, and would not be allowed back into the country. President Donald Trump tweeted that he instructed Pompeo not to allow Muthana back in the country, and that Pompeo "fully agrees." Muthana ran off to join ISIS in 2014, and later called for terrorist attacks on America. The fall of ISIS landed Muthana in a Syrian refugee camp, where she called her decision to join the terrorist group "a big mistake."
