Illegal Immigrant Arrested on Sex Abuse Charges

An illegal alien is charged with sexually abusing a child in Walker County, the sheriff's office said Thursday. Rafael Villanueva is charged with molesting a victim under the of 12. He is being held on $50,000 bond. The sheriff's office says the federal Department of Homeland Security was notified, and a detainer placed on Villanueva. Having a DHS detainer guarantees that even if Villanueva were to make bond, he would not be released back into the public.
